Age Requirements

Age checks are becoming a bigger part of the conversation across online gaming, especially as sweepstakes and social casinos continue to grow. Players want to know one thing upfront: “How old do I have to be to play, and what do I need to prove it?”

For sweepstakes-style platforms like Mojogo Casino, age requirements are more than a formality. They connect directly to account verification, prize redemptions, and staying compliant with state-by-state restrictions.

Why Age Requirements Matter More Than Ever in Social and Sweepstakes Gaming

Unlike traditional casino apps that are purely for entertainment, sweepstakes platforms can offer cash-equivalent prize redemptions through promotional currency. That added value makes age eligibility a core safety and compliance checkpoint, not just a box to click during sign-up.

Age rules also help prevent common headaches later, like locked redemptions, delayed verification, or account reviews triggered by inconsistent personal details.

Mojogo Casino Age Requirement: What Players Should Expect

Mojogo Casino operates as both a sweepstakes casino and a social casino, which means players typically use two kinds of virtual currencies:

• Gold Coins for standard gameplay
• Sweeps Coins for promotional play that may be eligible for prize redemptions after playthrough rules are met

Because Sweeps Coins can be redeemed for prizes once requirements are satisfied, you should expect the platform to apply clear eligibility standards, including age verification steps before any redemption is approved.

The Verification Reality: Age Checks Often Happen When You Redeem

Many players assume age verification happens only at sign-up. In practice, the strictest checks often occur when you try to redeem Sweeps Coins for prizes.

Mojogo Casino’s redemption flow includes standard “know your customer” verification, which may require:

• A government-issued photo identification
• Proof of address

If you are underage, or if your documents do not match your account details, redemption may be denied, even if you have been able to play with Gold Coins.

How Promotions Tie Into Age and Eligibility

Promotions are one of the biggest reasons age requirements are enforced tightly. Mojogo Casino includes multiple promotional paths where players can receive Sweeps Coins, including a welcome package advertised as “300,000 GC + 2 SC” and ongoing promos like daily login rewards.

Here is the key point: Sweeps Coins obtained through promotions must be played through at least 1x before they can be redeemed for cash prizes. So, even if you receive Sweeps Coins instantly, eligibility rules still apply at redemption time.

Also worth noting: Sweeps Coins may expire after 60 days of inactivity, and accounts inactive for 12 consecutive months may be treated as dormant with balances reset to zero. Staying active helps, but it does not override age or identity requirements.

State-by-State Restrictions Can Affect Who Can Participate

Age is only one part of eligibility. Location rules can also determine whether you can participate in sweepstakes-style play and promotions.

Based on current operator restrictions, access is limited in multiple states, including California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, Washington, and West Virginia.

If you travel frequently, it is smart to double-check your eligibility before making purchases or planning a redemption request, because availability can change depending on where you are physically located.

What to Do If You Are Unsure About Eligibility

If you are not sure whether you meet the age requirement, or you want clarity before you play or attempt a redemption, the simplest move is to ask support directly. Mojogo Casino offers support by email at “support@mojogocasino.com,” and live chat is available.

When you reach out, ask specific questions such as:

• “What is the minimum age to play in my state?”
• “At what point do you require age or identity verification?”
• “Can I play with Gold Coins if I am not eligible for Sweeps Coins redemptions?”

That way, you can avoid surprises and make choices with your eyes open.

A Quick Reminder for Players Exploring Slots on the Platform

If you are browsing games and promos, it is easy to focus on the fun stuff - like new slots, features, and bonus rounds - and forget the basics. Mojogo Casino’s catalog includes titles from multiple studios, and players may see popular-style video slots such as Sugar Mix Slots, Ocean Drive Slots, and Cosmic Fruit Slots. If you want to preview one before jumping in, the site’s internal page for “Sugar Mix Slots” is available at “/sugar-mix-slots.”

No matter which games you choose, age eligibility and verification expectations stay the same, especially once Sweeps Coins and redemptions enter the picture.

Age requirements may not be the most exciting part of online gaming, but they are one of the most important. If you confirm eligibility early, keep your account details accurate, and understand when verification is triggered, you will have a much smoother experience from your first login through your first redemption request.
